Wig Rental Terms

1. Service Overview

HairCity offers temporary rental of premium human hair wigs for events, everyday wear, and special occasions including weddings, graduations, photoshoots, and celebrations. Rentals are subject to availability and confirmed booking dates.

2. Eligibility

• Customers must be 18 years or older
• Valid contact details are required
• Proof of identity may be requested for high-value rentals
• HairCity reserves the right to refuse service where misuse risk exists

3. Booking & Payment

• Full rental payment and security deposit are required to secure a booking
• Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received
• Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated
• Availability is first-come, first-served

4. Rental Period

The rental period begins on the agreed pickup/delivery date and ends on the confirmed return date. Wigs must be returned on or before the agreed deadline.

Late returns may result in late fees as outlined in our Late Fees Policy.

5. Security Deposits

A refundable deposit is required for every rental. Deposits cover potential:

• Damage
• Loss
• Late returns
• Excessive cleaning or repairs

Deposits are refunded after inspection, subject to deductions where applicable.

6. Proper Use of Rental Wigs

Customers must treat all rental wigs with reasonable care.

Allowed:

• Light styling
• Low-heat tools with heat protectant
• Temporary hold methods

Not Allowed:

• Dyeing or bleaching
• Cutting lace or hair
• Chemical treatments
• Permanent alterations
• Heavy glue or product buildup

7. Cleaning & Hygiene

HairCity professionally cleans and sanitises all wigs between rentals. Customers are not required to wash wigs before return but must return them reasonably clean and detangled.

Excessive dirt, odours, or residue may result in cleaning fees.

8. Damage or Loss

Customers are responsible for the wig while in their possession.

• Minor damage: repair costs deducted from deposit
• Severe damage or loss: deposit forfeited
• Non-return: replacement charges may apply

9. Cancellations & Changes

• Cancellations before dispatch may qualify for rescheduling or store credit
• Last-minute cancellations may incur fees
• Date changes depend on availability

10. Delivery & Returns

• Delivery fees may apply
• Courier returns must include tracking
• Customer remains responsible until HairCity receives the wig

11. Limitation of Liability

HairCity shall not be liable for allergic reactions, improper installation, misuse, or damages arising from incorrect handling after the wig has been delivered.

Customers assume responsibility for proper use and care.

12. Policy Updates

HairCity reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
