Rent-a-Wig Late Fees
To keep our Rent-a-Wig service in Zimbabwe fair and available to all customers, HairCity operates on strict booking schedules. Returning your wig on time ensures the next customer receives their order as planned.
This policy explains how late returns are handled, the applicable fees, and how to avoid penalties.
Why Late Returns Matter
- Other customers may have bookings immediately after yours
- Each wig requires cleaning and preparation time
- Delays affect weddings, graduations, and special events
- It increases operational and courier costs
For this reason, late returns are subject to fees.
Return Deadline
Your return date and time are confirmed at booking. Wigs must be:
- Returned in-store by closing time on the due date, or
- Handed to the courier on the agreed dispatch date, with tracking shared immediately
Returns received after the deadline are considered late.
Late Fee Structure
Late fees are deducted from your security deposit first. Any remaining balance may need to be paid before future bookings.
How to Avoid Late Fees
- Set a phone reminder for your return date
- Return early if possible
- Use same-day courier services for distant towns
- Request an extension before your due date

We understand plans can change. If you need extra time, contact HairCity before your return date. If the wig is not already booked, we can often extend your rental at the normal daily rate (which is cheaper than late fees).

- Peak seasons have stricter timelines
- Unreturned wigs may be treated as lost property
- Replacement costs may apply if the wig is not returned
